6. Arsenal (12 players)
Arsenal’s strong German contingent will see them well represented at this summer’s World Cup with twelve players, joint with Real Madrid and Juventus.
£42.4m signing Mesut Ozil will be expected to shine after some inconsistent performances for his club this season, while Lukas Podolski and Per Mertesacker could also be key players for Joachim Low’s side, who will be among the favourites to win the tournament.
Elsewhere, the Gunners also have young midfield duo Jack Wilshere and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain playing for England, Olivier Giroud and Laurent Koscielny for France, and Spain’s Santi Cazorla turning out for the tournament holders.
