The youngster has been tipped to be one of the signings of the season following his mature form with Southampton. Having been selected to travel with England to the World Cup this summer, his move to United has stalled thanks to injury. However, he has returned at a time when the club are in desperate need for their new faces to come together and he will now likely relieve Antonio Valencia of his spot in the squad.
