Everton have made great progress under Roberto Martinez this season, and the Toffees are amongst the top creative forces in the Premier League.
They also boast the third best defence in the top flight, having only conceded 25 goals in 24 games, and no team has lost fewer matches than Everton’s three.
The team’s solidity is built on a strong midfield base, with Gareth Barry and James McCarthy breaking up opposition attacks well and building those of their own side.
The recent sensational form of Kevin Mirallas has been a great influence going forward too, with the Belgian having scored five and provided five assists already this season.
It is thanks to potent finishers such as Mirallas, Romelu Lukaku, Steven Naismith, Ross Barkley, Seamus Coleman and Leighton Baines that Everton are fighting for the top four this season in a vastly improved and more competitive Premier League.
