3. Tim Brown, WR
Perhaps the best receiver of the 1990s not named Jerry Rice, Tim Brown maintained a level of consistently great play for the better part of 17 seasons. At first Brown contributed greatly in the return game, earning two of his 9 Pro Bowl selections as the primary kick returner. But when he became the full-time wide receiver in 1992, Brown began taking the league by storm, finishing in the top 5 of every major receiving category over the next 5 years, and recording nine straight seasons with over 1,000 yards – tied for the third most in NFL history.
Brown was named to the 1990s All-Decade team and retired with the second most receiving yards in NFL history. He was a 5-time Hall of Fame finalist and it is a wonder why someone with such a stellar resume has not been inducted yet. Much like Marvin Harrison, he may simply be forced to wait his turn.
