7. Reggie Wayne, WR (IND) – The 35-year-old WR, who leads all active players in catches and receiving yards, is returning to the Colts after spending most of 2013 on injured reserve. At his age, there should be a pretty sharp decline soon, but the Colts need every veteran body to catch the ball while Andrew Luck’s receiving corps continues to get experience.
6. Doug Martin, RB (TB) – After leading all rookies in rushing yards in 2012, Martin suffered a season-ending injury in 2013. The Buccaneers’ running game struggled in the aftermath and will need a shifty back like Martin in order to legitimately compete in the NFC in 2014.
5. Jeremy Maclin, WR (PHI) – The Eagles bet the house on Maclin’s ability to recover from his torn ACL when they released disgruntled receiver Desean Jackson. While Maclin is surely improving during camp, he will need to play completely lights-out in order for the team to not miss the explosiveness Jackson brought to the team.
