Just named the BBC’s Women Footballer of the Year, Oshoala is a young promise for Nigeria. The Liverpool striker was voted the Under-20s World Cup’s best player last summer in Canada. The 20-year-old is most definitely one to watch this summer and as she develops in the coming years.
3. Nadine Angerer (Germany)
The German goalkeeper has proved to be one of the best in the country. The 36-year-old captain announced her retirement earlier this month, so watch for her to put it all on the line in her final World Cup.
