7) Luke Shaw – Southampton
The youngest man on this list, Shaw could well be Evra’s replacement at Old Trafford when the 32-year-old Frenchman eventually hangs up his boots. Shaw’s excellent performances at left-back have led many to suggest he will be Ashley Cole’s long-term replacement in the England team. His Southampton side also sit pretty in third place in the table, with the best defensive record in the country.
