9. Everton – Chang Beer (£5.3m)
Despite a relatively good defense and one of the biggest upsets of the season with a 3-0 win over Man United, Everton finished 11th on the table and missed out on the Europa League qualifying round. But
8a. West Ham United – Betway (£6m)
Speaking of the Europa League first qualifying round, that distinction went to West Ham United, who are set to show off the Betway-sponsored shirt and run rampant in the qualifying rounds of the Europa League. Betway are definitely going to get their money’s worth considering West Ham are currently a -278 favorite on the ROAD in tomorrow’s match against Birkirkara – the third best odds of any road team in the current round.
8b. Newcastle United – Wonga (£6m)
Wonga must have a LOT of faith in Newcastle United to turn it around because the club finished with the 2nd most goals allowed in the Premier League with an astounding 63 last year – only the relegated Queens Park Rangers had worse – and every other team allowed 57 or fewer. Add in the fact that Newcastle had the 4th worst point differential and you have a recipe for relegation next year. Let’s hope Newcastle spend that £6 million very wisely.
