“He will save them 12 or 15 points a season,” Chelsea captain John Terry said last month, according to The Guardian. That is all that needs to be said when discussing Cech and his potential impact at Arsenal.
The Gunners need a reliable and reassuring presence between the posts if they are to be considered legitimate Premier League contenders, and in Cech they have finally solved that problem. Expect them to much more compact defensively as a result, and coupled with their attacking threat, that spells trouble for their rivals.
