1. Raheem Sterling (Liverpool)
Position: Winger
Premier League appearances: 17 (7)
Remarkably, 19 year-old Raheem Sterling did not start a Premier League game until December this season, but so impressively did the Liverpool winger capitalise on the absence of Daniel Sturridge through injury that when all players were fit Brendan Rodgers adapted his formation to include both.
Sterling has pace, trickery and incisive accurate passing in his locker, and has shone in a number of roles for the team.
While typically deployed on either side of an attacking three, Sterling has also played at wing back, and against Manchester United was exceptional at the apex of a diamond midfield.
Raheem Sterling could be a massive player for Liverpool and England over the next decade.
