2. Easy schedule – The Patriots have only 6 games in 2014 against teams that had a winning record the previous year: the Chiefs, Bengals, Broncos, Colts, Packers and Chargers. None of those games seem un-winnable, so the road to the Playoffs looks like it may be exceptionally easy for the Patriots. A minimum of 12-14 wins seems like a given at this point.
1. Tom Brady – As long as the Patriots have future Hall of Famer Tom Brady as the starting QB, the Patriots are almost a shoo-in for the Superbowl. His 5 Super Bowl appearances are tied for the most in NFL history, and he still has several years before he reaches the retirement age of legends like John Elway, Dan Marino, Brett Favre or Joe Montana. Brady continues to set and surpass the NFL’s passing records almost every year with his efficiency and production with some of the weakest units in football, but now may have all of the weapons he needs to get his 4th Super Bowl win.
