4. Defense
The Saints boasted one of the best pass defenses in the NFL last season, and they upgraded it by signing Jairus Byrd, who is a ball hawk. With him and Kenny Vaccaro at safety and Keenan Lewis and Champ Bailey at corner, this secondary has the potential to compete with the Seahawks’ Legion of Boom for top secondary. Bailey is not what he used to be, but the former Bronco will benefit from talent across from him and be hungry for a Super Bowl before he retires. There is plenty of depth at corner too. The pass rush will also thrive with defensive end Cameron Jordan and outside linebacker Junior Galette returning.
3. Jimmy Graham
Graham signed that contract extension he had desired for a long time in time for training camp, and he will continue to be a top weapon for Brees. Graham is arguably the best tight end in the NFL, and he will be a matchup nightmare for just about any defense that faces him.
