The Oakland Raiders haven’t had a winning season since 2002 and have had 4 or fewer wins six times since then. That trend looks likely to continue in 2014.
The Raiders enter 2014 with a lot of band-aids at key positions – over-the-hill former stars or one-year wonders who were offered enough money in free agency. The rookie class is strong, but a few good rookies can’t elevate this team into a contender.
The Raiders have the potential to be the stepping stone in a competitive AFC West division and possibly the entire NFL. Here are the top ten reasons the Raiders will have the worst record in 2014:
