1. Schedule strength – The Raiders have the hardest schedule in the league in terms of opponents winning percentage from 2013. The Raider have to play the entire AFC East, the NFC West, 6 games in their division – all against playoff teams, as well as the ascending Texans and Browns. The first four weeks of November are a murderer’s row of playoff opponents: the Superbowl champion Seahawks, the AFC champion Broncos, the Chargers and finally Chiefs on a short week. Between all of those games the Raiders might be overachieving if they managed to win 4-5 games in 2014.
0-16 sounds unlikely, but 1-3 wins sounds like the most likely scenario given all of the Raiders’ issues and the impossible odds that they would have to overcome to be successful in 2014.
