10. PSV Eindhoven
Dutch football is almost an unrivalled breeding ground for the game’s future stars, but the Eredivisie has neither the glamour nor the money to keep the Netherlands’ best at home.
United’s £25m capture of Memphis Depay last month is evidence of this, while PSV have also sold internationals such as Kevin Strootman, Jeremain Lens and Ibrahim Afellay in the recent past.
9. Borussia Dortmund
Even Germany’s second biggest club are vulnerable to assaults from other footballing heavyweights.
Bayern Munich are Dortmund’s main tormenters, taking Mario Gotze and Robert Lewandowski from them in the last few years, but Marco Reus and Manchester United target Ilkay Gundogan could go elsewhere in Europe this summer.
