4. Joe Johnson – Brooklyn Nets
Standing at 6’7″ and weighing in at 240lbs, Joe Johnson looks more like a small forward than a shooting guard.
And while he puts that extra mass and length to good use most of the time, many of his shots are set up from his excellent handling skills, which are more akin to a point guard’s.
Since his high profile move to the Brooklyn Nets from the Atlanta Hawks, Johnson has not been as productive, with his points per game slipping from, at it’ highest 25 a game in 06-07, to the mid-teens, Johnson will need to be more aggressive if the Nets are to be one of the front-runners in the East this season.
Especially as he is one of the highest paid players in the league, earning more than $19 million.
