3. Dwyane Wade – Miami Heat
The Miami Heat superstar will go down in history as one of this generation’s greatest players, with his two latest championships only adding to his legacy.
Wade has made slashing to the basket an art-form for his entire career, with his signature one-step recognisable for not just his style, but the amount of ground he is able to cover.
He has also long been one of the most difficult players to defend on the perimeter, because if defenders sag off on him in a bid to step him getting into the lane, he is more than happy to hit from more than 18 feet.
There is not much left to be done in Wade’s career, he has climbed every mountain there is in the NBA.
A three-time NBA champion, Finals MVP in 2006, Nine-time All-Star, All-Star MVP, Scoring champion in 2010 along with multiple times in the NBA first second and third teams.
Wade has also shown himself to be a stoic defender and one of the best rebounders and shot-blockers the position has seen ever in the NBA, averaging 5.5 and 1.1 respectively for his career.
