9. Kawhi Leonard – San Antonio Spurs
Kawhi Leonard has got a long career in front of him if his improvement from his rookie to his sophomore season is anything to go by.
Leonard emerged as one of the key players for the San Antonio Spurs as they again defied the critics and the age barrier to make it to the NBA finals, falling just short against the Miami Heat.
The former San Diego State star improved his scoring a game by four points in average in his second year while also averaging six rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.7 steals a game.
And despite being just 22 years old, Leonard showed he can step up in big game situations as he collected 19 points and 16 boards in game six of last year Finals.
