8. Paul Pierce – Brooklyn Nets
If this list was complied as little as two seasons ago, Pierce would have been nowhere near the bottom end of the top 10.
But his stellar career for the past 16 years means he will be a future Hall-of-Famer and one of the best players for the Boston Celtics in their modern era.
While it might be strange to see ‘The Truth’ in black and white as part of his move to the Brooklyn Nets this past off-season, his career numbers and achievements stand up no matter what the uniform he is wearing.
Career numbers of 21.6 points a game, six rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.4 steals put him elite company.
Add to this his 2008 Championship, where he won his finals MVP, his 10 All-Star appearances and you have a career most in the NBA would kill for.
