3. Paul George – Indiana Pacers
The Pacers’ Paul George has the made the leap from player with potential to superstar in the making in just 1.5 years.
His amazing rise to fame has seen him land at number three on our list, and if his play this year is any indication, there sky is the limit for the 23-year-old.
There is a reason why the Pacers are off to their best start in franchise history this season at 7-0, and his name is Paul George.
Just two seasons ago the former Fresno State product was averaging 12.1 points a game, so far through seven games in 2013-14 he is scoring 25.1 a game to go with four assists, 7.9 rebounds and 1.7 steals a game, numbers that will put him in MVP conversation’s all season if they keep up.
Standing at 6’10” and possessing the speed and quickness of a mane at least six inches shorter, George and the Pacers loom as a serious threat to the Miami Heat in the East for several years to come.
