It’s fair to say that Aaron Ramsey has been the very best midfielder in the Barclays Premier League this season.
The Welshman is the joint fourth top goalscorer in the English top flight, the second most assists behind team-mate Mesut Ozil and has made more tackles than any other player.
Ramsey also almost joined Manchester United in 2008, with a June article on the official club website confirming a fee agreed with Cardiff City.
Despite a charm offensive from fellow Wales international Ryan Giggs, Ramsey moved to Arsenal due to the chances Arsene Wenger grants to young players.
