8. Vincent Kompany (Manchester City and BELGIUM)
The Belgium and Manchester City captain is always a threat at set-pieces as he has shown in the Premier League and on the international stage. He has just four international goals, but two came in qualification for this event, against Wales and Scotland, so defences will know they must pick him up.
Three goals in the 2013/14 Premier League season for Manchester City is nothing spectacular, but not a bad return for a centre-back.
