7. Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid) – 8.08
Cristiano Ronaldo is a goal machine.
The Real Madrid ace does to an extent force a team to be built around his attacking from the left flank, occasionally resulting in an imbalanced unit, but the gains the Portuguese flyer brings are so impressive that they more than balance it out.
Ronaldo has scored 13 goals in 12 games in La Liga for Real Madrid, and a frankly absurd seven strikes in three matches in the UEFA Champions League, with three assists amongst those.
That’s twenty goals and three assists in fifteen Real Madrid matches tracked by WhoScored this season, and that’s also ridiculous.
Ronaldo’s WhoScored rating is 8.08 domestically, but including his 9.15 average in the UEFA Champions League his mean would be 8.29.
Astonishingly, hat would still only place him third in this list.
