3. Aaron Ramsey (Arsenal) – 8.17
Prior to the start of the current campaign, few would have expected Aaron Ramsey to be the third best player in Europe.
It is fair to say that the Wales international had not developed as quickly or as much as Arsenal fans had hoped for, but this season he has emerged like a phoenix from the flames for the Gunners.
Ramsey is now basically excellent at everything.
In ten Premier League appearances he has scored six times and assisted four goals for his team-mates, showing his abilities in attack.
He has also made more tackles than any other player in the English top flight, and his average of 73.1 passes per match show just how involved and integral he is to the north London side.
