Franck Ribery is likely third favourite to claim the FIFA Ballon d’Or behind Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, but even if the France international cannot break up the duopoly, his performances and trophy haul speak for themselves.
Ribery claimed a sensational treble with Bayern Munich last season, winning the Bundesliga, UEFA Champions League and DfB Pokal, and beat Chelsea to the UEFA Super Cup this term.
The 30 year-old is highly capable with either foot, and bamboozles opposition ranks with his dribbling and creativity – as well as a rocket of a shot.
Three goals and six assists in eleven Bundesliga games make for a more than respectable total.
