14. David Silva (Manchester City) – 7.9
Statistics aside, David Silva is one of the best players in the Premier League to watch, with the Spain international always ready to receive the ball even when under pressure, turn on the proverbial sixpence and run at opponents before sliding through a precise through ball.
Silva was instrumental in Manchester City’s tremendous Premier League title win of 2011-12, and while perhaps sustaining that level was a huge ask the following season, he now looks close to being back to his best.
While injury has prevented him from making more than seven domestic appearances, Silva has managed three goals and three assists in that short space of time – an ominous sign for Man City’s opposition.
