Alvaro Morata (Real Madrid)
Arsenal have reportedly already agreed a deal in principle to sign the Real Madrid youngster for next season in what would be an exciting purchase by the north London club this summer.
The Spain Under-21 international has once again found himself largely warming the substitutes’ bench at the Santiago Bernabeu again so far in this campaign and following the recent emergence of fellow Spanish starlet Jese Rodriguez, Morata has actually fallen further down the Los Blancos pecking order of late.
So much so in fact that now the 21-year-old has finally decided to quit the Spanish capital when the summer transfer window reopens again for business at the start of July in the search of more regular game time at another club, which the player feels he deserves.
And with the best minutes-per-goal ratio currently of any player in La Liga, Morata’s signing would represent a major coup for Gunners manager Arsene Wenger, although the actual final terms of the deal still need to be thrashed out by the two respective parties.
