Sir Alex Ferguson
The most unlikely of the five, but also the most intriguing; Sir Alex Ferguson is now a free agent after leaving Manchester United last summer.
The Scot has officially retired from football altogether, but could he be tempted to have a season at Barcelona?
It could mean the fulfilling of a lifelong ambition.
“I would have loved to have gone to Barcelona at one time in my life,” said Ferguson in 2010.
“That would have been a dream.
“Their ideology and philosophy, the whole place is fantastic.”
Times journalist Rory Smith feels a spell in charge of Barcelona could just make sense for all parties – as unlikely as it sounds.
@BeardedGenius Not sure. Would guess it'll be Heynckes, or possibly De Boer. But Fergie would kind of make sense…

We’re not saying it will happen, but we’ll admit we’d love it if it did.
