1. Mesut Ozil (Real Madrid and Arsenal)
172.9 minutes per goal assist
Arsenal superstar Mesut Ozil has been castigated for perceived poor form since the turn of the year, having missed out on the winter break he had previously enjoyed in both the Bundesliga and La Liga, but four goals and eight assists in the Premier League this terms is hardly a meagre return in his debut campaign in north London.
Ozil was brought to Emirates Stadium because he is arguably the most creative player in Europe, and the languid playmaker’s productivity cannot be called into question.
The German simply makes the difference when he is on the pitch.
