1. Jason Garrett, Dallas Cowboys (29-27) – Since taking over for Wade Philips during the 2010 season, Jason Garrett has lost the NFC East Division title game to each of the Cowboys’ three division opponents in the final week of the season, finishing 8-8 in three straight years. Owner Jerry Jones has brought in assistant after assistant, veteran after veteran and left the team in “salary cap hell” in an attempt to give Garrett a team that can make the leap into the playoffs and back to the Superbowl for the first time in almost 20 years. But Garrett’s Cowboys have failed to rise to the occasion, and Tony Romo is not to blame since he has been playing some of the best football of his career.
Without a return trip to the playoffs in 2014, Garrett is a lock to be shown the door.
