4. Muhammad Wilkerson – The Team MVP of the Jets in 2013, Wilkerson became the first player in the Rex Ryan-era to record over 10 sacks. His sack total may have been even higher if teams had not begun double-teaming him on almost every play – which allowed LB Calvin Pace to record 10 sacks as well and enable fellow lineman Sheldon Richardson to run wild en route to a Defensive Rookie of the Year award. Wilkerson was snubbed for the Pro Bowl but was named Second-Team All-Pro. Many people believe that Wilkerson is the second-best 3-4 defensive lineman in the league behind J.J. Watt, which means the Jets may be required to give him a deal worth just as much fairly soon.
