The Belgian winger-wizard has missed a game through injury, and came off the bench to score against Norwich at the weekend. When fit though, he is still Jose Mourinho’s first choice attacking midfielder.
4) Adam Johnson – Sunderland – 16 chances created
The former Manchester City winger has struggled so far this team playing for managerless Sunderland, who currently sit rock bottom of the Premier League table. Johnson has created 16 chances, although not many of these have been converted!
3) Michu – Swansea – 16 chances created
Swansea’s impressive Spaniard earned his first call-up to the Spain squad for their upcoming qualifiers, as he has started this season where he left the last. Michu scores and creates goals, and is the key man in Michael Laudrup’s fluid side.
2) Mesut Ozil – Arsenal – 16 chances created
The brilliant German missed Arsenal’s first two games as he was still a Real Madrid player, but has still created 16 chances, three of which were converted directly into goals. The £42m signing has taken the Premier League by storm, and will probably top this list come the end of the season.
1) Mark Noble – West Ham – 17 chances created
Surprisingly, no player in the Premier League so far this season has created more chances than West Ham’s midfield battler Mark Noble! The Englishman helped his side to a shock 3-0 away at Spurs at the weekend, and is a key member of Sam Allardyce’s physically imposing outfit.
