3. Kirk Cousins, Washington – At age 26 and with two years as a backup to Robert Griffin III in Washington, Cousins is arguably the most intriguing and inexperienced prospect available for the Rams. Cousins has only 4 starts in his first two years, but in two of those games he had over 300 passing yards and a total of 5 TDs. Washington has said on several occasions that they would listen to offers for Cousins and now may be as good a time as any to pick him up before the regular season starts and RGIII becomes exposed to more injuries – which could drive up Cousins’ value. The downside to signing Cousins would be his lack of experience, which would make signing him and plugging him in so quickly without learning the entire offense a difficult proposition.
