2. Luis Muriel
Benzema is a ready-made top level striker, but Arsene Wenger is always on the lookout for potential.
Udinese forward Luis Muriel is a wonderful young player who has earned comparisons with legendary Brazilian forward Ronaldo thanks to his strength, sensational dribbling skills and cool finishing.
The Colombian scored an impressive eleven goals in 15 Serie A starts last season, and also supplied three assists for his team-mates.
Capable of playing as a number nine or in the deeper role of second striker, the 22 year-old Muriel could lead the line for the Gunners or find a productive partnership with Olivier Giroud up front.
Muriel was linked with Arsenal earlier this summer, but has only spoken of his contentment at Udinese.
3. Pablo Osvaldo
AS Roma forward Pablo Osvaldo has scored 28 goals in 57 appearances for the Giallorossi, but is very much on the market for transfer.
Osvaldo was linked to Arsenal last month by Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport, as part of the arrangement to bring Gervinho to Stadio Olimpico, but as with so many swap deals it did not come to light.
Still, having fallen out with the Roma management team at the end of last season, Osvaldo could prove a cheap option for the Gunners.
