Lyon winger Nabil Fekir has admitted that it would be a dream to one day play for Manchester United.
The 22-year-old was linked with Arsenal this summer, but seems to have his heart set on Old Trafford.
“Why not play one day in Manchester. This is a club of dreams,” he told French outlet Europe1.
The Frenchman was speaking after Anthony Martial move to United for £36m, becoming the most expensive teenager in world football, and has given his former Lyon teammate a message of support.
Fekir added: “Anthony is a very good player, I played with him in Lyon. Of course this is a very large sum. We know that clubs like that are able to put that kind of money for good players.”
Fekir has scored 20 goals and contributed 17 assists in 59 appearances for Lyon since his 2013 debut.
He made his senior international debut for France against Portugal last night, but suffered a serious knee injury which could rule him out for six months and scupper his Premier League move.
