2. Jarrad Waite (Carlton Blues)
At times this season Waite has looked on the outer with the emergence of Levi Casboult in the forward line, however he simply has too much talent not to be on an AFL list.
Waite’s class is undeniable, but his inconsistency is frustrating for both the club and its fans.
His performance against North Melbourne last week showed all his qualities, and it is extremely unlikely that Carlton will want to let him go.
At the age of 32, Carlton will be looking to drop his $500,000-a-year wages and it remains to be seen if Waite will take the pay cut to remain at the Blues, or take the money and run to premiership-contenders Fremantle.
