BRAD HADDIN
Haddin looms as a safe option for Cricket Australia solely due to his experience, however his troublesome shoulder means he may not feature against India – in the first Test at least.
History suggests wicketkeepers generally don’t make Australians captains, however there is every chance Haddin could break the trend.
He has experience captaining New South Wales in the past however, and if he is fit come December 4 it would come as no surprise should he lead the side out in Brisbane.
