Mario Gomez
The prolific Bayern Munich striker has already proved himself to be one of the most deadly marksmen in Europe ever since moving to the German giants from fellow Bundesliga outfit Stuttgart for a whopping 35m euros in May 2009.
However, the Germany international has easily justified his hefty price tag in the mean time, smashing in 113 goals for the Bavarians in only 174 matches in all competitions, although the 27-year-old was only a bit-part player for Munich last season as the club won an historic Treble.
And that has led to plenty of speculation of late linking the striker with a possible big-money move away from the Allianz Area this summer, with City certainly one of the few clubs in Europe capable of affording his huge transfer fee.
