8. Harry Wilson (Liverpool)
Has been unfairly compared to Ryan Giggs since Wales thwarted England’s hopes of stealing Wilson by making him their youngest ever player in 2013. Yet to make a splash at club level, but surely will do.
7. Matt Targett (Southampton)
Southampton have led the way in recent seasons when it comes to giving young players first-team opportunities and left-back Targett has already made a handful of appearances for Ronald Koeman.
6. Nathan (Chelsea)
A £4.25m signing from Atletico Paranaense earlier this summer, Nathan’s early days at Chelsea are likely to be spent out on loan, but there are big hopes that the winger will eventually make an impact.
5. Alex Pritchard (Tottenham Hotspur)
Was an integral figure in the Brentford side which nearly upset the odds to win promotion from the Championship last season and has now been promised a first-team chance at White Hart Lane.
