By far and away the biggest spenders over the past five years have been Man City. Bankrolled from Abu Dhabi, the Citizens have splashed the cash on the likes of Sergio Augero, Fernandinho, Stevan Jovetic and Alvaro Negredo in recent summers but are yet to be raided by the likes of Real Madrid or Barcelona – so their incomings remains comparatively low.
