8. Maurice Jones-Drew (RB, Jacksonville Jaguars/Oakland Raiders)
One of the premier RBs for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Jones-Drew led the NFL in rushing yards with 1,606 in 2011 and finished in the top five two other times. But the anemic QB play of the Jaguars forced the team to run him into the ground, and by the time he left Jacksonville at age 28 he was a shell of his former dominant self. He retired at age 29 after recording his worst season ever in one year with the Oakland Raiders.
