3. Gale Sayers (RB, Chicago Bears)
One of the most elusive RBs in NFL history, Sayers is one of only several players in NFL history to score six TDs in a single game and led the NFL in rushing twice and in all-purpose yards three times. Knee injuries forced the Bears’ legend to retire at just 27 years old – but he would become the youngest man in NFL history to enter the Pro Football Hall of Fame at age 34.
