10) Javi Fuego – Rayo Vallecano – 103 tackles
Fuego’s ability in defensive midfield has earned him a transfer to Valencia this summer, where he signed after running his contract down at Vallecano.
9) Morgan Schneiderlin – Southampton – 108 tackles
The only Premier League player on the list! The French midfielder has been at Southampton ever since 2008, and if he keeps tackling like last season – he could be there for a while yet.
8) Arturo Vidal – Juventus – 109 tackles
The only player of real European pedigree to make the top ten – The Chilean battler was key to Juventus’ title last season.
7) Victor Sanchez – Espanyol – 109 tackles
Sanchez is a graduate of Barcelona’s La Masia academy – so we don’t quite know where he learnt how to tackle quite this well!
6) Lars Bender – Bayer Leverkusen – 109 tackles
The Arsenal target is 24-years-old and the twin brother of Borussia Dortmund midfielder Sven Bender. Lars is known for his incredible work-rate and stamina, shown by his 109 tackles last season.
