Holtby is confident of Spurs being able to attack on all fronts.
There is a good vibe around Tottenham Hotspur at the moment and rightly so – the north London club spent £107m on new talent over the summer and are second in the Premier League.
Finishing fifth by a single point to rivals Arsenal last term has meant that Spurs are in the Europa League this campaign, although the side have excelled in the competition so far.
In fact attacking midfielder Lewis Holtby – who scored in Europe against Tromso last week – believes Tottenham can win all the trophies they are fighting for in 2013/14.
“Silverware is silverware. There’s four cups to play for and you want to win all of them,” the 23-year-old was quoted by the Guardian.
“If you want to go to the top as a professional footballer you try to win every game and you try to win every trophy.”
Holtby has played just 20 minutes of league football for the north London club this season, but is hoping to get into the side to face Chelsea on Saturday after strong cup performances.
Along with the Europa League strike the German was instrumental in Spurs’ 0-4 triumph over Aston Villa in the League Cup on Tuesday, assisting three of the goals.
The midfielder joined from Schalke 04 in January for just £1.5m, but with the arrival of Christian Eriksen this summer and the good form of Gylfi Sigurdsson, first team opportunities could be rare.
