Spurs receive 6-0 drubbing at the hands of Premier League title favourites Manchester City…
Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas launched a scathing attack on his side following their hapless 6-0 thrashing by Manchester City at the Emirates.
“We have to be ashamed of ourselves, and react to a defeat like this,” the young Portuguese boss controversially said.
Spurs were awful this Sunday afternoon, and conceded a goal after just 14 seconds following a mistake by goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.
Sandro then scored an own goal, as Tottenham’s midfield was completely out run by Yaya Toure and Fernandinho.
The afternoon got progressively worse for the North London side, who conceded six goals and were roundly booed by the travelling supporters at the final whistle.
