Spurs looking to snap up Lassana Diarra.
Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur are closing in on the free transfer signing of former Real Madrid, Chelsea and Arsenal midfielder Lassana Diarra, report L’Equipe, with manager Mauricio Pochettino looking to strengthen his side after another disappointing Premier League defeat at White Hart Lane this weekend.

Diarra has fallen off the radar somewhat following his departure from the Bernabeu, moving to Russia to play for Anzhi Makhachkala and Lokomotiv Moscow, but French Ligue 1 leaders Olympique Marseille are also said to be interested in the 29 year-old, who also played for Portsmouth in the Premier League.
Tottenham have the likes of Etiene Capoue, Moussa Dembele, Ryan Mason and Nabil Bentaleb to choose from in central midfield, but perhaps lack an experienced head, leading Pochettino to the door of Diarra.
