Tottenham Hotspur are believed to be interested in signing Stuttgart teenager Timo Werner as they look to shake up their strike force.
Manager Mauricio Pochettino apparently wants to offload Roberto Soldado and Emmanuel Adebayor and bring in some young blood to support 31-goal hero Harry Kane.
Their pursuit of £18.2m AS Monaco frontman Anthony Martial is already thought to be in motion and now Pochettino is considering an offer for another of Europe’s top prospects.

Werner burst onto the scene when he became Stuttgart’s youngest ever player at 17 years, four months and 25 days old in August 2013, and was linked to Arsenal last summer.
He only scored three goals in 30 appearances as Stuttgart limped to a 14th-place finish in the Bundesliga last season, but Pochettino has faith in Werner’s potential, according to The Mirror.
Arsenal reportedly dropped their interest in the German when they learned of his £20m price tag, but he is unlikely to command such a big fee in the next transfer window and Spurs may try their luck.
