3. Inexperience
There’s nothing wrong with learning on the job but a club like Tottenham Hotspur need an experienced manager. Sherwood has openly admitted that his tenure has been a learning curve and he has clearly made mistakes along the way. But have also been promising signs, such as his man-management of Emmanuel Adebayor and promotion of the promising Nabil Bentaleb, who was ignored under Villas-Boas. If the 45-year-old can learn his trade at a smaller club (Norwich?), he could yet manage a top club again in the future.
