Top-flight duo are keen to bring Oranje playmaker to the capital for next season.
London rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea have both been told that they can sign skilful Galatasaray midfield player Wesley Sneijder for just £12.75 million this summer, says the Daily Mirror.
The coveted Netherlands international has only been with the Turkish giants since the turn of the year, when the playmaker arrived in Istanbul from Inter Milan for 7.5m euros on a three-and-a-half-year deal.
However, in the intervening six-month period the 29-year-old has struggled badly for both form and fitness, with Sneijder registering just four goals and one assist in 16 matches in all competitions, including only three goals in his 12 league outings as Gala won the title.
As a result, the Turkish champions are now understood to be willing to part company with their prize asset when the summer transfer window finally swings open into action once again on July 1, with Galatasaray president Unal Aysal saying: “I have been following the rumours about Sneijder, but we have not received an offer for him.
“If an offer in the region of €15m comes in, we might decide to sell him though.”
