London rivals may miss out on Sevilla striker this summer.

Both Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea look like missing out on signing coveted Sevilla front man Alvaro Negredo at the end of this season after it emerged that Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund have submitted a £15.2 million bid for the Spaniard.
The Germans are currently looking for a replacement for their in-form but departing striker Robert Lewandowski, who looks like joining either Bayern Munich or Manchester United this summer.
And that means that if either Spurs or their west London rivals Chelsea do want to bring the coveted Spain international to the English top flight, then they will need to match or even better Dortmund’s bid.
With an eye-catching 17 strikes in only 25 Liga games this season, any club that signs Negredo would be buying an experienced 27-year-old forward with a nose for goal at the very highest level.
The £15.2m offer from Borussia Dortmund seems a fair price for a current Spain international with 14 caps and six goals to his name in his four-year international career.
If Chelsea or Spurs match that fee, it will be down to the player to choose which country he would prefer to play in – and then possibly which area of London.
